Direct Democracy
The APN adopts a government mechanism based primarily on Direct Democracy, though the most practical and beneficial approaches from other political theories are integrated and utilized.
A Direct Democracy is one in which the individual citizen votes directly on legislation and other national concerns. In contrast, a representative government is one where representatives vote on legislation and other national concerns on behalf of the people.

Fortunately, in a digital age it is simpler and most expedient to put issues out directly to the citizenry for a vote.
In any government, there must be organization. In the All Peoples Nation, any or all citizens can put forth their concerns in the form of a well thought out presentation for consideration by the nation as a whole. Impact Citizens then select items from the submitted legislation to be voted upon. These items are then voted on directly by the citizenry.
Note: Any citizen can choose to become an Impact Citizen.

Privacy of the individual vote is strictly confidential. That being the case, voting takes the appearance of a real-time poll in order that everyone may see how the vote is progressing. Complete transparency is a critical point addressed in the National Declaration and is strictly upheld by the All Peoples Nation.
