Why a New Nation?
Definition:
The All Peoples Nation is a nation made up of citizens from all over the world, connected virtually and self-governed based primarily, but not entirely on the political system of Direct Democracy.
The Need:
This system and framework has the advantage of immediacy and efficiency, which is most compatible with the virtual, digital, and electronic nature of our times. It also provides a greater measure of transparency than can be found among representative-style democracies:
Benefits:
1. Every vote counts: rather than assigning each voting region or district a pre-approved number of (electoral) votes, each person’s vote makes a positive and direct (statistically immediate) contribution towards the objective.
2. Transparency: close communication and cooperation between and among the populace constitutes a distinctive feature of direct democracy.
3. Non-Partisan: partisanship is drastically reduced through frequent interaction and total participation, running contrary to historical party squabbling, segregated voting blocs, pariah lobbyism, and factionalism typical of modern bureaucratic and “middle-man” (representational) style regimes of career politicians.
